Back once again, Joe Francis-Dowden is a sought-after artist and a popular tutor with a friendly, informal style of teaching. This three day course is designed to help students develop as watercolour painters as Joe teaches through step-by-step techniques and tailored individual tuition.

“Derbyshire Landscapes” will enable students to understand the principles and techniques of watercolour in order to paint realistic landscapes.

Joe’s unique method of painting is easy to follow as it is based on a desire to create beautiful pictures, rather than art theory.

Students are guided in the practise of good drawing and painting techniques and will been shown Joe’s methods of capturing the essence of landscape details, such as, underwater stones, reflections and foliage.
