Roger is an experienced botanist and plant illustrator. He has won a Certificate of Botanical Merit for his work at the Society of Botanical Artists where he is a member, and has exhibited every year since 2003. He is also a member of the Institute for Analytical Plant Illustration.

2013 Course Details

Roger Reynolds is an experienced botanical watercolour artist and plant illustrator. This three-day course is designed to provide insight into some of the techniques used for botanical painting. Tuition will include the process of drawing and composition; how to handle watercolours in a precise way; wet-in-wet, and dry brushing techniques and will cover a range of plant elements from flowers to stems and leaves.

Tuition is step-by-step using a combination of workshops and demonstrations. Students will initially work on the same specimen before embarking on their own subjects and material which interests themselves.
